Too often, retirement becomes a slow fade — a recliner, a stack of doctor's appointments, and a world that quietly gets smaller. I've watched it happen, and I've also watched the opposite: people in their 70s, 80s, and beyond who stayed strong, curious, connected, and useful right to the end.
The difference usually isn't luck or genetics. It's a set of choices made a little earlier, repeated a little more consistently. How you eat, how you move, how you think, how you work, and how you love — those daily decisions compound into the kind of life you'll be living at 80.
